  1. STS31KIT is the NASA press release (dated April, 1990) of the STS-31
  2. Space Shuttle Discovery mission to release the Hubble Space Telescope in
  3. earth orbit.  This file details the pre-launch activities, the mission
  4. sequence, and much more.  A detailed discription of the Space Telescope
  5. and it's mission are included (unfortunately, they didn't know about the
  6. spherical aberration then!).  Even though Hubble is not yet working up to
  7. spec. this file shows what it was designed to do, and may yet accomplish
  8. (when it is fixed!).  Of course, all the other experiments that were
  9. performed are explained as well.
